The basis of the paste is a unique and clinically tested formula that combines extracts from seven medicinal herbs. The extracts of agrimony, chamomile, sage and potentilla give the paste its healing properties to help fight gingivitis, bleeding and periodontal disease. Peppermint, clove and fennel essential oils give Herbadent paste its unique aroma and freshness.
The increased sodium fluoride percentage reduces the risk of tooth decay and cares for the health and strength of tooth enamel. The paste's fine abrasive particles help mechanically remove bacterial plaque.
The paste does not contain unnecessary chemical additives, such as the widely used SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate), but only natural-based foaming agents.
The paste is recommended to be used in a combination with Herbadent soft toothbrushes. Remember that no toothpaste can replace the importance of mechanically cleaning your teeth and gums with a toothbrush.
Warning: The toothpaste contains 1450 ppm fluoride and a high percentage of herbal extract. Therefore, children under the age of six should only use it under adult supervision. In this case, apply only a pea-sized amount of paste to the toothbrush to minimize swallowing of the paste. If fluoride is ingested from other sources (for example food), consult your dentist or general practitioner about the suitable usage of the paste.
Correct brushing:
Brush your teeth at least twice a day after meals with a good quality toothbrush and plenty of toothpaste. Place the toothbrush against the gums at a 45-degree angle. Use small vibrating motions to wipe away particles from the root to the crown of the teeth. Do not forget to clean the inside of the teeth and the biting surfaces of the molars.
Replace the toothbrush as soon as it shows signs of wear, but after three months of use at the latest. For healthy teeth and gums, use a toothbrush with straight-cut bristles - fine or very fine. Do not forget to visit your dentist regularly every six months and have a preventive treatment with a dental hygienist.
